If the last time you gave birth was via C-section, you must be wondering how you would give birth for your current pregnancy? Should you have a repeat C-section or how about vaginal birth, also know as vaginal birth after C-section (VBAC)? We hope the video below will shed some light and guidance on this matter. However it is not a substitute for a proper consultation and discussion with your doctor.

Contraception

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! Contraception is important to prevent unplanned pregnancies, and fortunately there are many options that you could choose from. If you are not sure if a particular method is suitable for you, then always consult a doctor before taking them.

Prepregnancy Care

Whilst most women go on to have relatively smooth pregnancies and deliveries, some women dont, especially those with underlying medical conditions that could affect both mother and the growing baby within the womb. Some of these women may even end up seriously ill or in danger of losing their lives! If you or you know someone who has a medical condition and is planning on getting pregnant, do talk to your doctor/healthcare provider on whether it is safe to embark on a pregnancy, and do not forget to use a safe and suitable contraceptive method until you get the health clearance needed.

Quote of the week

“In generosity and helping others be like a river.
In compassion and grace, be like the sun.
In concealing other’s faults, be like the night.
In anger and fury, be like dead.
In modesty and humility, be like the earth.
In tolerance, be like the sea.

Either appear as you are, or be as you appear..”
