The daycare services at Sarawak General Hospital have expanded with the opening of the new Surgical Daycare Centre next to the Main Block. The expanded services now include outpatient hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and laparoscopic daycare surgeries. Before these procedures, patients are assessed at the clinic to ensure proper preoperative preparation, including any necessary referrals to the anaesthetic team. Patients come in on the day of the surgery, and if there are no complications, they are discharged the same day with follow-up plans.
